Hello,
I'm running OpenSolaris 2008.05 with OpenOffice 2.4.0 installed using
OpenSolaris' Image Packaging System (http://opensolaris.org/os/project/pkg/)
from the repository pkg.opensolaris.org (package pkg:/[EMAIL PROTECTED]).
The Online Update tool alerted me to OpenOffice 2.4.1, however, upon downloading
the update it pops open a terminal which spews text and exits quickly. When
trying to run "./setup -j /usr/jdk/latest/jre/bin/java" from the downloaded
/root/Desktop/OOo_2.4.1_Solarisx86_install_wJRE_en-US I get a Java application
which does a lot of SysV package commands not applicable to OpenSolaris. Thus, I
am unable to use OpenOffice's built-in upgrade feature. (I'd suspect, OpenOffice
should support upgrading via an appropriate IPS repository or else have the
feature disabled when not installed via a SysV package).

Thank you,
Clay
