Additionally to the known bug reported in Issue 88802 I believe it's an additional problem that these transparent "ghost rectangles" will be created . This problem is not limited to Chart export. I did an additional test with "Nuovo OpenDocument - Testo.odt" after I modified data line "C" to "fine dotted" and "30% transparent". As expected, an other "ghost rectangle" has been created during PDF export with 'PDF/A-1' In my testfile "DRAW.odg" and "draw_transp.odg" (with tranparent circle lines, created with 2.4.1 WIN XP) with you find this transparent dotted tata line "C" copied / pasted from "Nuovo OpenDocument - Testo.odt" and some other graphic elements, that cause the same problem with 'PDF/A-1' if the lines are transparent/dotted.
