------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jun 25 03:04:51 +0000 2008 ------- Heh, 6000 installed fonts?! Even dedicated font managers can have trouble with that number. More likely to impact on users would be a modest number of installed fonts that include some particularly fancy display fonts containing complex glyphs, such as some Renaissance-style initial caps, very intricate dingbats, or fonts with fancy shading etc, all of which take a while to display. Some form of caching would be a solution. That said, I've just opened a request (issue 91032) for a user-definable font list, which could help circumvent problems. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
