Attempts to convert StarOffice 5.0 *.sdc files failed by two different paths and looked to me to be the same problem. How would I know this is two issues? It looked like one issue to me: failure to convert StarOffice 5.0 *.sdc files. - The first issue occurred by installed external extension -> Meanwhile fixed. How would I know that File->Wizards->Document Converter is an external extension and not supported by OpenOffice.org? If that is the case, then the issue should have been closed immediately. - The help issue shows me, that the OpenOffice is an ubuntu distribution which we do not support. How would I know that OpenOffice does not support an ubuntu distribution. If that is the case then the issue should have been closed immediately. It seems to me the proper resolution to this issue is: Converting from StarOffice 5.0 *.sdc files was a issue in OO 2.2.0 There were in fact two issues. Both issues were fixed as of OO 2.x.y .
