2008 -------
Steps:
1) type "hello world", <enter>
2) insert formula
3) type "x^2"
4) close and watch the screen --> whole document is scrolled (relatively to 
the screen) because some toolbars are kicking in

This is distracting, please make the document position fixed, so there would 
be no relative scrolling, so user does not have to track (visually) the 
document each time he/she opens/closes the formula editor.
