------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 24 08:18:56 -0800 2005 ------- I am using 1.9.87 on Windows XP Pro. Create a Table using the Table Wizard. The first entries displayed are "Bussiness Assets". Select "AssetID" and "Comments" Click Next Set the "Auto-increment statement" for AssetID to "IDENTITY". Click on the Comments field. Click on the AssetID field. The Auto-increment statement is no longer present. <This is the first problem> Now, click Next. Select "Use an existing field as a primary key" Set the field name to "AssetID" Select "Auto value" Click Next. The default table name is Assets. Insert data immediately is selected. click Finish. The table opens for editing. Notice that AssetID is NOT an <auto value>. If the table is created in the design mode, then the Auto Value and IDENTITY auto-increment value work as expected. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
