------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 3 10:27:08 +0000 2008 ------- AW: Alll SdrObjects use the metric of the ItemPool they are connected to over the model. For Draw/Impress this is 100thmm, for SW this is twips. This means that the sizes You get when asking a SdrObject are in twips when the object is in SW. The layouting itself is done in the Outliner, which - AFAIK - straight uses the VCL methods again (Malte may know more here). Since SW is using metrics and the VCL methods for layouting and a SdrObject in SW uses twips and the Outliner uses the same VCL methods, there should be no difference. I do not know much about the Outliner, please use a SW with a single SdrTextObj to check which VCL calls the outliner uses for layouting (and currently painting, not yet primitives in the master...).
