When an item in a pulldown is selected, a grey horizontal box is drawn across the screen about the height of once cell and vertically placed far below the selection box or selected item (maybe 30 rows?). The problem does not appear at some below 1280x1024, or when the spreadsheet window is relatively small (800x600?).
