I try do the same, but over Debian Etch (with OOo 2.4.1), and the sound can't be played. I can hearing the sound file with no problem (using mplayer, noatum, or other media player). Steps to be follow: - Download sound_loop_test.zip (available in this bug report) and unzip it. - Go to right side bar (tasks) - Click over "Slide transitions" - Check if "Sound" option have correct sound file (loop_test.mp3) - Press F5 to view slide. - None sound is played.
