For my testing I had 5 simple object (Text, boxes, smily and a barrel) and assigned them the different animation objects. After a couple of cycles I got increasing numbers of display error. It started with a residual white spot in the upper left which increased to a small block of about 5x5 pixels. Then in the next presentation start the background (which should have been white) remained black and animations were completly corrupted. Closing and reloading the animation did not help, nor did closing of the application help. I had to kill the Quickstarter and reload Impress and the demofile to have it properly working again for some cycles.
