ok...1.9.87...windows 2000 sp4

about the xls file that contains ms macros... (Oreja de Izaje.xls)

If you double click the file OOo will crash. (note: the quickstart icon will
duplicate some time and dissapear after a short time... and reappearing again
also, you can't double click another document. OpenOffice will not start.
Although in the task manager it will still be instances of soffice.exe and
soffice.bin in memory and executing. (i counted 5 or 6 instances).. Also,
Writer will not start anymore (until restart windows))

If you open the file from inside OOo (calc) it will open with a "memory
shortage" warning. Obviosly the document will be unusable since OOo can't
handle MS macros.

I think that OOo can first verify if there are MS macros in a file and
automatically disable them... it's better than crashing... :-)

About Cotizacion 2966.doc:

Now the problematic image is loaded correctly... but trying to double click on
it will produce a "General OLE error". Also (but minor) in the images on the
headers from page , the order of display is messed... (i will post a pdf file
of the MS output next time)

testing and the General OLE Failure is still there... but now appears at random
points... (there's no reliable way of reproduce them... for now)

still testing...

Se ya later!

J.
