No further info/no sample document → closing as invalid.
Feel free to reopen this issue when you can provide some additional information.

It is natural that a pdf gets bigger than the original document, since most
likely it had some of the used fonts embedded in it. If it was Type1 fonts, OOo
wasn't able to subset those and had to include the full font. (now it can)

But without the sample documents (the original document and the generated PDF
would be helpful), there is not really much that could be done.
