Yes, it is possible (at least in versions >2.04) to do so but you might want to
use AWT instead of Java Swing to get native dialogs. See the API, ask at the
user forum, read the code of existing Java extensions.
Setting the issue as wontfix because now it's enough to consult the
documentation.
