I'll post a patch, which will add the missing features. (see issue 90908 and others). In addition, I made the following changes: - I removed the autoextension check box, instead I let the file picker handle the extension. - I use IFileDialog::SetClientGuid(). The dialog will remember certain settings and the last folder location, depending on this guid. I associated a number GUIDs with the different template descriptions for the file picker. Different template descriptions are used for different file tasks in the application. Although not a perfect solution, e.g. the export file picker will remember its settings independently of the regular Save As picker. Of course these changes should be subject to discussion. Everything else should be more less straightforward implementation of the missing stuff.
