User pl changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Assigned to|pl |mba -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jul 22 17:30:23 +0000 2008 ------- pl->mba: the reason is that the cancel handler of SfxPrintProgress_Impl ignores the button press until a job is active (in a large writer document it takes a while to count the pages to be printed it seems). There is a comment "we're still in StartJob, prevent a crash" in there. The attached patch would change the behavior so that is active only during the Printer::StartJob; however I don't know what that comment really referred to. Canceling before Printer::StartJob does not seem to have adverse effects (on the mac at least), however that would seem to be platform independent.
