starting testtool.bin on MacOS X would be like:
StarOffice.app/Contents/basis-link/program/testtool.bin
which fails with:
No Info.plist file in application or no NSPrincipleClass in the Info.plist file,
exiting

To workaround this I changed to the directory StarOffice.app/Contents/program
and created the link:
ln -s ../basis-link/program/testtool.bin testtool.bin
then testtool is able to start with:
StarOffice.app/Contents/MacOS/testtool.bin

But i was only able to get the images displayed, when I start ./testtool.bin
from directory StarOffice.app/Contents/MacOS, not when starting testtool.bin
with absolute path and the entry in testtoolrc::BRAND_BASE_DIR= with absolute
file url. (see issue i92215)

Please make testtool.bin work out of a new installation without manually
tweaking it on MacOS X.
