I'm usin OpenOffice 1.9.84 (Brazilian Portuguese) in Windows XP SP2 Home
(Brazilian Portuguese)
Open a Writer document.
Click on the icon to make that document read-only
The "Save" button is disabled.
Click again on the icon to make that document read-only. Now the document is no
longer read-only.
You can write in the document, but the "Save" button is still disabled so you
cannot save your changes.
I'm setting P2 because you'll lose all that you have written after you clicked
for the 2nd time in that button.
