the design process is over.
We stuck to the "OOo brand + document type idea" to go forward with the
established corporate
identity.
But, the color laguage of OpenOffice.org 3.0 MimeType icons was improved:

We spend a long time for usability design test, to make sure we fixed all
problems of legibility.
These tests also include the accessibility of color and contrast, too.
