User jbfaure changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ CC|'' |'jbfaure' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Aug 2 20:28:51 +0000 2008 ------- On Linux, you need to install in your home or specify your own configuration directory. In fact Dev300_m29 creates user directory in .../ooo-dev3/.ooo-dev/3/ so you need write rights on this directory. I use the following command : MY_CONF=file:///home/my_login/.ooo-dev3/ /opt/ooo3/ooo-dev3/program/soffice -env:UserInstallation=${MY_CONF} (I have copied both directories ooo-dev3 and ooo-dev found in downloaded tarball in /opt/ooo3/) It is necessary to define the variable MY_CONF as url, a simple path file does not work. If you install in your home then soffice script can create .ooo-dev/3/ in .../ooo-dev3/ because you have write rights in this directory. And soffice can start. I do not known if it is the same on XP. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
