User er changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Target milestone|--- |not determined -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 29 03:38:33 -0800 2005 ------- This seems to be a misunderstanding. There are two symbols for each currency, one is the ISO-4217 currency abbreviation, here CHF, used in banking and financial transfers, and the other is the symbol used in writing and maybe on notes and coins, currently "SFr." in our locale data. According to "MÃnzverordnung vom 12. April 2000 (MÃnzV), Stand am 16. Dezember 2003." http://www.swissmint.ch/d/gesetz/941.101.de.pdf the official currency symbol should be "Fr." instead, with different capitalization for different languages. I just wonder why locale data of most systems use "SFr." instead? Can someone please clarify? Btw, Andre, de_FL doesn't exist, it's de_LI you're referring. And given the facts above it doesn't seem right to me that it uses CHF even in "normal" currency formats. It should use "SFr." or "Fr.", depending on the outcome of above. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
