------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Aug 12 13:47:58 +0000 2008 ------- Hi, http://specs.openoffice.org/calc/ease-of-use/Insertion_of_Cells.odt ...describes the process of moving, copying and inserting cells, rows and columns using drag'n'drop. This is incredibly useful functionality that has been implemented but is almost totally undiscoverable. There are no visual cues that drag'n'drop can do different things depending on modifiers (alt, ctrl) being held down. The document describes mouse pointers changing but this doesn't happen, the pointer is the same regardless of whether d'n'd will move the cells, overwrite the target, etc. It's also a bit frustrating that there seems to be no way to discover this functionality. I only bumped into it as a result of cross linking from similar issues to do with writer: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=37809 http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=13645 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
