@Mru, thank you for explaining the workaround. However note that with no 
tables user deletes page breaks with delete/backspace so she/he is used to use 
those keys and expects (quite naturally) that it will work with tables too. 
So this is rather defect

TABLE
---- page break
|TEXT

| denotes cursor. Now, normally you would press backspace and get deletion of 
page break. But because the table is before it will work like left arrow key 
(the same goes for delete).

a) delete key (as name indicates) deletes, if it does not -- it is a bug
b) user should not check page up/down what object is next just to perform 
basic editing
