The problem is inserting a hyperlink into a table field and the function does not work as described previously. Rather than simply write off the problem as invalid can you send me a valid e-mail address and to whom a return message should be marked out to for attention please? I can then send two screen captures as attachments in .odt format clearly showing (a) the database table with the "Source" field into which a hyperlink needs to be inserted and (b) the help file topic that describes how - but the function is simply unavailable being greyed out. Only the first two methods described in the help file of inserting a hyperlink are relevant to what I want to resolve.
