--with-lucene-core-jar=... --with-lucene-analyzers-jar=... etc. For every jar,

I did not know, there is an option for each JAR. These aren't exactly
documented. I just saw (in config.log), that a number of environment
variables are consulted and set them to the values applicable to a *BSD
system (where third-party stuff is never under /usr, but under a
separate prefix, such as /usr/local or /opt). This -- using environment
variables -- worked for most of the JARs, but not for the apache-common
ones. The discrepancy prompted me to file the bug report.
