------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 3 20:12:08 +0000 2008 ------- I just installed the beta 2 version of OpenOffice. When I turned on AutoSpellCheck (I like to have it on so I can see misspellings easily), all the words in the open document were underlined with wavy red lines! Apparently, the program isn't recognizing the installed dictionaries (regardless of where they are - Program Files/OpenOffice.org/share/dict; Program Files/OpenOffice3/share/dict; or even Documents and Settings/Owner.<name>/Application Data\OpenOffice.org3\User\wordbook).
