Investigation reveals that the same happens in Draw:
- use OOo 2.4.1 and create new draw document.
- insert attached TIFF graphic as linked and crop it.
- save the document and open it in OOo 3.0 Beta2
--> same effect.
The difference between Writer and Draw on OOo 3.0 code line is that you still
can reproduce the defect in OOo 3.0 Writer from scratch. This does not work in
OOo 3.0 Draw. The difference between OOo 3.0 Writer and OOo 3.0 Draw is that
read original graphic size - in OOo 3.0 Draw it is much bigger as in OOo 3.0
Writer.
Result of consulting SJ:
Issue 92902 exists and seems to be the root cause of this issue. I confirmed
this by applying fix of 92902 to my local environment.
Thus, resolving this issue as duplicate and adding it to cws canvas06, which
contains the fix for issue 92902
