------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Sep 4 14:29:41 +0000 2008 ------- Copy&Paste is often a repetitive task with similar settings within a single work session. I might be working on a document that needs the rich text format to be copied, and other times I find myself copying text from a website where I don't need the surrounding HTML formatting. The current solution si to use "paste special", which means two additional steps copmpared to simply CTRL+V : - select the format from the choices displayed - confirm the selection (OK button) It would be nice if on that window there would be a checkbox to make the selection the default paste behavior for the future so that the user does not need to go "paste special" all the times. Even nicer it would be if the choice could be made: - permanent (i.e. a preference stored between session) - limited to the current session (i.e. when OpenOffice is closed it reverts to the previous setting) - limited to the current document (so that I can paste HTML formatted document to a Writer document and still just paste plain text from that same HTML page to a Calc document) Thank you for taking the time to read this request. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
