I use OpenOffice.org Calc 2.4.1 to plot my monthly mortgage. I used to use
Microsoft Excel 2003 until I moved to Ubuntu linux.

I have several graphs that require 2 columns to be plotted against the date.
For example I have one graph that shows the total balance remaining on my
mortgage along with the amount paid off. The amount appears on the Y axis and
the date appears along the X axis. In Excel this works as expected and I see a
large area graph for the total balance and within that area graph is the amount
paid off.
However in OpenOffice.org Calc 2.4.1 the total balance appears correctly (at the
correct positions against the Y axis for amount), but for some reason the amount
paid off appears above it (at totally the wrong position on the Y axis - as
though it is adding the amount paid off to the total balance (which I haven't
told it to do).

As you can imagine this is quite annoying at the moment as I have to switch to
Excel in a VirtualBox window to plot this graph when I would much rather be
using it all in OpenOffice.org.

Many Thanks

James
