------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Sep 6 20:38:46 +0000 2008 ------- I am using Open Office 2.4. I did not recognize the version numbers I was supposed to select among to tell what version of formula editor I have. Equation Editor includes some space in a formula object even when frame spacing of formulas is set to zero left and right. Thus a formula cannot be butted against text, as one might want to do with the term nth, where n is a variable, and th is the ordinal suffix. Also a formula at the left margin appears to be indented slightly. Negative spacing might overcome the problem; unfortunately negative spacing is taken as zero. While the answer to the math forum question, "Remove default margin on new formulae?" does help, the problem would be fully solved only if two formulas, say x and y, inserted consecutively look like a single formula, xy. Spacing should be up to the user. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
