------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Sep 9 11:02:43 +0000 2008 ------- I just downloaded and installed OOo 3.0 RC1 for amd64 deb. Spelling does not work for any languages. I used F11 to open Styles and Formating and right clicked the Default Paragraph style selecting Modify from the context menu. Under the font tab, the Language dropdown list contains NO "abc with a checkmark (tick)" for any of the listed languages. The same was true for OOo 3.0.0 Beta 2.
