However, the text is NOT actually bold, as bolding the text in Writer produces even bolder printout. Printing from other programs besides Writer (such as gedit) works fine. Exporting to PDF and then printing the resultant file from Evince also works. Reproduced with Times New Roman and Verdana fonts, but have not yet tried other fonts. Also reproduced with .odt, .doc, and .txt files, but have yet to try file formats. Printer is an HP Photosmart C4480, using hplip 2.8.7 drivers.
