On entering presentation mode and normally advancing to the page containing the video, they are played once. Progressing and going back again or jumping onto the page from somewhere else in the presentation does not result in playing the video again. That used to be the case in OOO2.4.1 In my opinion short video sequences must be replayable in a presentation. In 2.4.1 this could be done by a jump to the very same page by an interaction with a textbox "play again" or the like.
