Regarding the vector glyph, I feel somewhat strange. Hiragana and Katakana characters are quite fundamental characters among Japanese. A tool, fontforge show us the font files have bitmap glyphs of the characters as well as vector ones. Why OOo or its font rendering system decided to choose vector one instead of bitmap for the characters at the zoom factor where CJK ideograph characters are rendered with bitmap glyph. Anyway, we can close this issue.
