2008 -------
I have an old presentation which was created with OOo 2.x. I think it contains
at least some slides which were converted from powerpoint and edited later on.
If I try to load this file with 3.0RC1 on a PPC Mac (latest updates installed ->
10.5.5) Impress crashed immediately after completing to load the document. The
file repair dialog shows up and when I confirm to proceed with repairing the
document it gets repaired, loaded again and .... crashes again. And so on.
The same file works fine with OOo 3.0RC1 on a windows machine though.
I can create a new presentation without problems and this will not crash impress
when I close and re-load the new presentation. It seems to be something in the
old file which is fishy. I can provide the presentation (a few MB) to the
developers if needed.
