------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Sep 18 14:39:21 +0000 2008 ------- Have tried to let soffice fork itself instead of forking to execute a second binary -> works, but now there are Two Icons in the launcher on 10.4. Determining the the OS version and fork from soffice to soffice.bin on 10.5 and forking from soffice to soffice on 10.4 works too but then there are two Icons in the dock on 10.4 !!! :-( Forking from signal handler breaks auto recovery :-( Implementing a watchdog instead of a launcher might solve the problem but for now I'm trying to use TransfromProcessType() to make 10.4 show the menus and leave the rest as it is.
