------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Sep 22 07:47:30 +0000 2008 ------- created sample xls document to show the problem with sumif (and most likely other functions) - how it handles text, number and number-stored-as-text values. In sample document - D3 contains (as excel calls it) number-stored-as-text, E3 - contains number. In excel - sumif works fine (cells D3 and E3 show correct result). Calc works OK if number is stored as text (because A3-A7 has also textual values), but not working if there is a plain number only for it's second argument.
