Hello,

This issue may be hard to reproduce...

Installed OOo 3.0 (all versions, even dev... last tested : m7)

The installation ends up correctly.

Click on the Desktop start link.

The "welcome page" opens correctly.

Click on any button of this page : crash ("unexpected error")

Click on "File... New" : same crash.

Click on any existing file : same crash.

Click on any link in quickstarter : same crash.

And... this issue occurs only on my laptop !

On my desktop PC, nothing wrong.

Of course, here are the specs of the guilty PC :
ACER Aspire 3610
Celeron M 1,6GHz
512 Mo RAM
Windows XP SP3 (all updates up-to-date)
JAVA 1.6.0_07 installed (with previous 2.4.1 OOo)

OOo 2.4.1 works fine on this laptop.
