------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Sep 27 04:15:01 +0000 2008 ------- Using $B$3 for absolute cells. Would be nice to control-click to have this automated. Current steps: 1) enter numbers in a column 2) go to next column B to enter formula. 2.1) enter "=2*" 2.2) click cell B3 and press enter. Formula becomes =2*B3 2.4) Edit formula to become =2*$B$3 2.5) Repeat for each row of calculation, e.g. through row 20. Select 20 rows in C and drag copy to columns D-F etc. Desired operation: Instead of 2.2) above use control click 2.2 revised) Control (or other key such as alt etc) click cell B3 and press enter. Cell becomes =2*$B$3. Maybe this functionality exists but I'm not aware of it. Shift sets up for multicell select. Control seems to insert a ; Not sure why. Thanks!
