Alternate Summary / steps to replicate the bug: Bug Summary: Animated Text not visible in slideshow view. Steps to Replicate: Step 1: Create a Text Box using Text Box Tool on the Drawing Tool Bar. Step 2: Add some text into the text box Step 3: Select (hightlight) the text and right click to select Text option from the menu that appears. Step 4: Click on Text Animation Tab. Step 5: Click 'Scroll through” options under Text Animation Effects and select direction as 'To left' (Arrow sign leading towards left side) Step 6: Click “OK” button. Step 7: Click anywhere outside the text box and observe the animated text (scrolling from right to left in this case) Step 8: Hit F5 or select “Slideshow” from View Menu and observe the animated text is not visible instead a scrolling black box is visible. Tried other text animation effects like blink, Scroll back and forth, scroll-in etc and observed similar behaviour. Text Animation being a basic requirement in any presentation and is extensively used while in slideshow view (while projecting / reviewing presentations) thus the bug is recomended for a Priority 2 fix (Affects a large customer base). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
