------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Sep 28 17:28:29 +0000 2008 ------- When entering formulas in Impress, the only way to enter them is as objects separate from text. Many slides that use formulas require formulas that flow with the text (inline formulas). OpenOffice Writer supports this, but OpenOffice Impress does not. This is a major nuisance and makes OpenOffice extremely tedious for presentations involving mathematical formulas. Many people in the sciences use LaTeX for the simple reason that formulas in Impress are still such a pain. (I searched the issue tracker and couldn't find an existing issue filed on this. I'm amazed that there isn't one; this is such a fundamental problem with Impress, and so many people are struggling with it.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
