------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Sep 30 07:54:19 +0000 2008 ------- I still can't assign a simple custom template [attached] as default template: OOo 3.0.0 [OOO300m8 Build 9357 / WinXP] freezes and has to be closed with the taskmanager. The recovery of 'untitled 1' freezes again during the autorecovery process. OOo can only be restarted by changing manually the values/items in <Setup.xcu> and <Recovery.xcu>. With 'new document from template' the same custom template can be opened and all is working fine.
