To reproduce it, follow this : Create a new spreasheet Write "Test" in A1 Save as "Shared.ods" Create a new spreasheet Make a link on Shared.ods#Sheet1.A1 in cell A1 ='file:///U:/OpenOffice/shared.ods'#Sheet1.A1 Save as "link.ods" Share "Shared.ods" (Tools/Share Documents/Share ...) Update the link in link.ods (Edit/Links...
