------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Oct 4 04:12:56 +0000 2008 ------- Hi there - I have been experiencing inconsistent behavior using the Command and Option keys to navigate documents in Mac OS X. When I am navigating through words, I can use the Option key with the arrow keys to move between different words, and I can use the Command key with the arrow keys to move to the beginning or end of the line. However, when I am using Option or Command to select words (i.e. holding the Shift button and using the arrow keys), I would expect that using the Option key with the Shift and arrow keys would allow me to select the text word-by-word, but the Option key doesn't allow me to select anything. Likewise, I would expect that using the Command key with the Shift and arrow keys would allow me to select all of the text to the end or to the beginning of the line. However, this is not what the key combination does - it selects the text word-by-word. This ( )-key + Shift-key + arrows behavior should be consistent with the ()-key + arrows behavior. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
