When selecting the first letter of an italicized word and typing a replacement
character the new character typed takes the formatting from the previous (non-
italicized) character as per specification.

Suggested solution is to choose Insert before selecting the character and
typing the new character which DOES work in Text but DOES NOT work in Calc.

This is a duplicate of issue 56164 but in Calc.

1. 56164 should be re-opened!!!!
2. I do not agree with the specification. Currently the specification states
that a character typed should automatically take the format of the previous
character. This is true within a word, but not true if the previous character
is a -space-, i.e. the character I am typing is the first letter of an existing
italicized word!
3. Selecting a character should NOT be considered a delete and type as current
functionality would suggest. That is I have selected an italicized character,
but it ignores this and takes the format from the previous, non-italicized,
space. Rather selecting a character and typing over it is clearly an Insert and
not a Delete and Type. I am telling the document to Insert my character in the
current location and it should therefore maintain the currently set styling,
e.g. italicized as the character I am replacing is currently italicized.
