------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Oct 8 22:56:08 +0000 2008 ------- A document that I prepared as a .doc under Linux since I was continuing with a respective MS-Word pre-prepared template appeared to have lost text when exported to PDF. Also, when the document was opened in OOo on Windows or by MS Word, the document appears to have the same defects as the PDF has, those machines did not have the "show hidden" enabled. The document was never stored as .odt before the error occured and changeing to the native OOo format did not change anything. I have no clue whatsoever about how the hidden flag could be set manually. It appeared at several fractions of the text. I definitely did not want to do that and did not even know that this was existing. The text that is hidden should at least be marked somehow as such, maybe with a vertical dark bar at the side, so people can then google about how to switch it off again. A possible cause could be my pasting in of text that I had selected from a web browser using the Linux-typical middle-button paste. In the large document that I was editing, it was the sections that had such quotes from the web browser that had these issues. The above URL presents a small test case demonstrating that feature. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
