------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 21 06:23:48 +0000 2008 ------- Steps to create the problem : 1. create new .ODS spreadsheet 2. insert '07.01.1900' in one cell ( first appears as 07.01.00 , but you can change the format of the cell to DATE dd.mm.yyyy) 3. SAVE AS... Microsoft Excel 97/2000/XP ( .xls ) 4. Open the newly created .xls file with MS Excel or MS Excel Viewer 5. Observe the date : 08.01.1900 6. If you open the .xls with OpenOffice the cell contet is OK ( 07.01.1900 ) 7. Please note that this situation is valid vice-versa : -- if you save that cell in Microsoft Excel (.xls) first and then open it with OpenOffice it will show 06.01.1900 !!!!!
