------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 28 22:18:50 +0000 2008 ------- In the chard wizard - data range help, it's stated that in order to select multiple data ranges, one must manually add a semicolon after picking the previous data range and the next one. There are multiple problems with this approach. First up, it's mostly a wild guess of what the delimeter is, unless you want to dig into the middle of a help paragraph that's buried somewhere. Second - you have to specifically insert it after pressing the 'select data range' button (that is not mentioned in the help), because adding it before that will cause the select data range dialog to wipe out the previous data range. Third, in order to add the delimeter, you have to unselect the previous range, since it is automatically selected. And fourth, it's not exacltly easy to use. So why not make it so that if the user is holding ctrl (or another modifier) while selecting cells/ranges, the selection should be added to the current data range. This seems a log easier (and probably more intuitive, since a lot of people are used to selecting multiple items in various programs by holding ctrl). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
