In the attached document, I would like to cut the table and caption and place it
at the end of the document. I don't want to cut the heading that follows it, but
I do want to cut the caption.

I highlight the caption and the table by dragging through the left margin area.

Then I press ctrl-X.

The heading turns to plaintext -- loses its formatting.

There just doesn't seem to be a way around this one! I am an advanced OOo user,
I would say. I have used a lot of features for some pretty large reports,
presentations, spreadsheets, etc. So I'm not just being stupid, I don't think.
