Example:

I have a lab report with many appendices and graphs, but I do not want to
clutter the main lab report document with all that other info, but the other
info is saved in a format that open office can read. I want to tell the lab
report document that when it is printed, to also print the appendices and
graphs. I can tell open office where to print these documents, the graphs will
be printed between pages 3 and 4; and the appendices will printed printed after
the last page, 5.

This would also make managed large files easier to edit if they can be split
into different files. You have 20 graphs, well each graph is in a different file
so to open up the document, you don't have to wait for it to open 20 pictures,
only one.

I am not sure if this feature is implemented yet because I can't find anything
about it.
