In my particular case, I have a docking station at work with my desktop extended onto an external monitor (so I am using the laptop display and a monitor as an extended desktop). But when I go home, I use the laptop standalone, so my desktop area is much smaller. A number of dialogs such as Format|Paragraph unfortunately 'remember' their last screen position and are so positioned off-screen. Restarting MS Windows or OOo does not resolve the problem. I have found that the simplest way of restoring the dialogs to be in usable positions is to delete the Views.xcu file - though this does mean that other settings are lost at the same time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
